Wyresdale Park || Adam and Katy Berry
I was privileged to photograph Katy and Adam's wedding a few weeks ago. Wyresdale Park located in Scorton was a perfect choice for these two to get married at. I was overjoyed with the opportunity to shoot at Wyresdale Park as it's a new venue for weddings, but I really loved working there and I can't wait to photograph another wedding there soon.
Katy got ready in the living space of the Country House. The cosy wood-panelled room made a perfect place the the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in and enjoy the build up to the ceremony, including watching the Royal Wedding that was taking place the same day.
Adam arrived at the venue an hour or so before the wedding all suited and booted with just the final details such as the buttonholes needing to be added
Katy and Adam’s wedding ceremony took place in one of Wyresdeale’s three dedicate wedding barns. The ceremony barn is a beautifully bright space that really fit the vibe of the couple and was a perfect choice for them to choose as their venue.
During the wedding reception we shot group photographs before I got chance to explore the grounds of the venue to capture some casual portraits of the couple. Everyone seemed pleased and were enjoying themselves out in the sun as drinks kept coming from the barns own Tavern. I mingled around the wedding party capturing the guests candidly whilst they enjoyed their drinks, including a cider named after the Bride herself.
Katy and Adam are a lovely and blissful couple, I was very fortunate to photograph at their wedding in a gorgeous venue like Wyresdale Park.
After I had delivered the photos to the couple I received the nicest compliment from them I can ever remember getting.
““Darren photographed our wedding in may & what an amazing guy! Just got the photos back & it was like reliving the day all over again!
We really can't recommend him enough, so talented & made us feel like he was old friend by making us feel really relaxed.
The day went in such a blur so it was so nice to see the day captured for us, Thank you for helping us make our memories Darren! X””
