Holla We Want Prenup: Adam & Bethan’s Ponden Mill Wedding

First Glimpses of the Day

Adam and Bethan’s wedding at Ponden Mill was the kind of day that had its own soundtrack. From Oasis classics drifting through the courtyard to the dance floor erupting later that night with “Holla We Want Prenup” energy, music was at the heart of it all. And honestly, it couldn’t have suited them better—laid-back, fun, and unapologetically their vibe. From the very first laugh to the very last note, this celebration was about love, family, and a good dose of cheeky Yorkshire spirit.

A Ceremony Full of Personality

If ever there was a ceremony that broke the mould, this was it. The groomsmen set the tone right from the start, making their grand entrance by strolling down the aisle handing out beers to guests—it felt more like the opening act of a gig than a formal procession, and everyone loved it. Then came one of the most heartwarming moments of the day: Bethan walking down the aisle with her dad, accompanied by one of their dogs, while Adam stood at the front with the other by his side. It was tender, personal, and perfectly them. To top it all off, their friend took on the role of celebrant, even bringing his own vicar’s collar to really look the part. The mix of humour, love, and personality made it one of the most memorable ceremonies I’ve ever photographed.

The Charm of Ponden Mill in Keighley

Tucked away in the Yorkshire countryside, Ponden Mill has that perfect mix of rustic history and wild beauty. The riverside, stone walls, and tucked-away green corners gave us endless backdrops for photographs. It’s one of those venues that seems to catch the light just right—ideal for natural, candid wedding photography in Keighley.

Stolen Moments with the Couple

Portraits with Adam and Bethan never felt like “posing time.” They wandered the grounds hand-in-hand, their dogs tagging along, and just laughed their way through it all. Every smile, cuddle, and cheeky glance was completely unposed—exactly the kind of relaxed wedding photography I love to capture.

Little Touches, Big Personality

This wedding was brimming with personality. Lawn games filled the courtyard, guests guessed the first dance song in a sweepstake, and Oasis tunes floated through the day courtesy of La Fox Band. Even their camper van stay on site felt like the perfect final detail.

The Party That Followed

The reception kicked off with heartfelt speeches that had everyone laughing and tearing up in equal measure. Later, the band had the dance floor overflowing, with friends and family throwing themselves into every song. It was a night of pure energy—music, movement, and unfiltered joy.

Why This Wedding Stays With Me

Adam and Bethan’s celebration at Ponden Mill was so much more than a wedding—it was an experience stitched together with music, laughter, and love. Every detail, from beers in the aisle to dogs in the ceremony, reflected who they are. A day like that isn’t just memorable, it’s unforgettable.
